EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) rubber is a type of commercial flat roofing system that consists of synthetic rubber sheets adhered together with contact adhesive or tape. A common application of this type of roofing is large buildings with large flat areas such as big box stores with large open areas. EPDM is often a preferred type of roofing material due to it’s outstanding heat, ozone and weather resistance.
